Partnering with Families to Help Children Know and Love Jesus

Welcome! At Atonement, we believe children are a precious gift from God—and we’re passionate about helping them grow in faith from the very beginning of life through 5th grade.

Our Children’s Ministry is designed to support families, equip parents, and introduce children to the life-changing love of Jesus in a safe, nurturing, and fun environment. All staff and volunteers are background-checked, have agreed to our ministry policies, and have completed certified child safety training.

Come see what God is doing in Children’s Ministry at Atonement—where faith is growing, friendships are forming, and Jesus is always at the center.

  • Fever or chills
  • Cough
  • Sore throat
  • Congestion or a runny nose

What are the check-in and pick-up procedures?

To ensure every child is safely cared for, we use an electronic check-in system.

  • If your child will be in the nursery for both worship and Sunday School, please check in for both.
  • Print the label and place your child’s name tag on the back of their clothing.
  • Keep the parent pickup tag—you’ll need it when you return.

First-time families:
Please leave a cell phone number with nursery volunteers so they can text you if needed. Share any important notes (diapering, snacks, allergies, naps, etc.).

Pick-up:

  • Present your pickup tag to a volunteer.
  • A volunteer will match the code on your tag to your child’s name tag.
  • Only adults with the pickup tag may pick up a child—please do not send older siblings.
