We are delighted to meet your family and hope that your first visit is as warm and welcoming as your hundredth. Our aim is for your kids to learn about Jesus in a fun, safe, nurturing environment.
Here are some things to know about our procedures and programs before your visit on a Sunday morning.
Infant Nursery Care (birth-24 months) is available during the 9:30am worship service and 11:00am Sunday School hour in our infant nursery. Infants need to be checked into both times if they will be staying for the whole morning.
Nursing Mom’s Room is adjacent to the Infant nursery. The service is live-streamed into this room and cribs are available for babies who need to nap.
Worship
Children are welcomed and encouraged to attend the worship service from babes in arms to wriggling toddlers/children. We provide worship bags for children that include some manipulatives for busy hands as well as a children’s bulletin designed to help children follow along with the sermon.
Children’s Church (2-4 years old)
Children begin in the worship service with their parents so they may participate in singing, prayer and hearing the Children’s Message. After the message, they meet volunteers in the lobby who will escort them to the Children’s Library for a time of singing, a story, prayer and play until the end of the service. Parents may accompany children to Children’s Church if they choose.
Children must be checked in to our electronic system prior to the start of the service in order to attend Children’s Church. Parents can pick up their children at the end of worship in the PreK room or, if the children are staying for Sunday School, our volunteers will escort them to the Sunday School opening room.
Sunday School (PreK-5th grade)
After the worship service, children can attend Sunday School where they hear a bible story that is always pointed to the Gospel, participate in fun object lessons and practice scripture memorization. After checking-in at one of the laptops, parents should escort children to the Sunday School Opening room in the Children’s Wing (room signs are over each door) where they will begin the hour and then will be dismissed to grade level classes. Parents, using the pickup tag printed at check-in, may pick up their children at noon at the grade level classroom.
