Worship. Connect. Serve.
Growth doesn’t happen by accident. We grow by following Jesus’ teaching for how we are to live—not to earn God’s favor, but because we’ve already received it. These practices are our faithful response to His grace, and through them, God takes our faith deeper.
Worship — A Commitment to Jesus
Everything begins with Jesus. Our relationship with Him is the foundation of our faith and the source of every other rhythm of grace. We worship because He first loved us—because the One who gave His life for us is worthy of our whole hearts.
Worship isn’t just an event or emotion; it’s a daily posture of the heart in response to who Jesus is and what He’s done. As we behold His grace, our lives are reoriented around Him—our thoughts renewed, our desires reshaped, and our hearts restored to joy and gratitude – it all flows from worship.
(John 4:23–24; Romans 12:1–2; 1 Peter 2:9–10; Revelation 7:9–17)
Connect — A Commitment to the Body of Christ
We connect because faith isn’t meant to be lived alone. Jesus calls us into His body, the Church—a community shaped by grace, where we are known, encouraged, and built up together in love. In committing to one another, we embody His love to the world.
(Ephesians 2:1–22; 4:1–16)
Serve — A Commitment to the Work of Christ
We serve because Jesus came not to be served, but to serve. Every act of service joins His ongoing work to renew all things. Whether in our homes, neighborhoods, or across the world, we give our lives to reflect His mercy and extend His kingdom.
(Matthew 28:19–20; Acts 1:8; Romans 10:14–15; 2 Corinthians 5:11–21)
Find your place at Atonement
Membership isn’t a formality or a box to check—it’s a way of saying, “These are my people, and this is where I’ll grow.” The Church isn’t a place we attend, but a people we belong to—joined together by God’s grace and committed to His mission.
To belong to a local church is to share life with others who are learning to follow Jesus. It’s a covenant of mutual care and commitment—worshiping together, growing in faith, and serving side by side so that the world might see Christ through us. As we belong to one another, God deepens our faith, strengthens our joy, and displays the beauty of His gospel through a community shaped by grace.
